Who Am I & Why Should You Listen To Me?

My name is Baderinwa Rotibi, and I am pleased to welcome you to this community of young graduates exploring ways to earn money outside of a traditional 9-5 job. To provide some background about myself, I am a wife and mother with over 11 years of experience in banking & led market research at Fortune 500 companies.  

Currently, I manage a global marketing firm and support international clients with marketing strategy. My purpose here is to help young marketing professionals start their careers by providing guidance on how to make money while pursuing their corporate goals.

I remembered 11 years ago when I was looking for a job and thought I had done everything they told me—gone to school, gotten a degree, applied for jobs—but reality hit me hard

  • No one was calling me back for interviews.
  • The few job offers I got paid peanuts—barely enough to survive.
  • I felt frustrated, watching others make money while I struggled.

I knew there had to be another way.

While employed, I noticed that large businesses, including Fortune 500 companies, were investing significant resources to understand their market, customers, and competition. They were hiring professionals to conduct research, analyze trends, and provide insights, rather than relying on assumptions.

Also, small businesses, startups, and online entrepreneurs adopts using market research and are willing to invest in them.  I decided that this is a great way to make money and I was RIGHT

I started small, helping a friend’s business analyze his competitors.
Then, I pitched a small business owner who wanted to expand his customer base.
Soon, I had my first international client—and my first ₦250K paycheck! I also launched my Business- Serviceconnecthub through market research and it is successful.
